It all started some years ago, when I wanted to buy myself a lovely vintage watch as an investment, in return for many, many hours working as a youth coach at a local first division football club in Flanders (KV Mechelen) and an equal amount of working hours as a student in various jobs.

Just like many visitors of my website -I assume- I was not sure about which (second hand) watch to hunt and where to buy it (online?). I was a bit scared to invest such an amount of money in a piece of art with so many risks involved and without really knowing too much about it. Buying a brand new watch was an alternative option, but I preferred buying a second hand watch with a certain story behind it.

Eventually I started reading books, blogs/fora, watched YouTube video’s, spend hours on eBay and various other platforms and tried to talk about watches with much more experienced people (and I still do all of this by the way). This helped me to buy my first vintage (luxury) watch: an ‘Omega Speedmaster Reduced’. After helping dozens of people with their quest for the perfect luxury/vintage watch, I decided to start with AG Watches in order to help even more watch enthousiast.
